Working in the world of real estate has proved to be more exciting than I ever imagined. When my girls were both in school full time I found myself wondering what direction my life was going to take me. After a little soul searching, and a lot of chatting with friends, I decided to give the whole real estate world a try. After all, my only experience with a real estate agent wasn't great and I wasn't sure I wanted to be lumped in with people who didn't seem to care about much but a pay check at the closing table. Despite, my ill feelings towards the profession I decided to give it a try. Maybe I could be different. Needless, did I know, as soon as I would get into classes the market would tank. Fortunately this gave me time to really learn and understand how things worked and how not to be a closing table agent. I was blessed to be connected with a company that felt the same way I did and I LOVE our practice.
I have found that working to help people find their perfect home or sell a home they are ready to move on from is so rewarding. I love to problem solve and my favorite part of the job is negotiations. Well, that and checking out what is in the fridge at the houses we are touring. If you've never played the "What's in the fridge" game while looking for a house, give me a call and let’s play.
Buying or selling a home is one of the most important decisions you will make in your life, it's important to have someone on your side, that's me.
